Song #3. Written by Cody Miller and Gavin Kerr. Recorded with and Produced by Scooter Allen of Rewire Studios. This song was the turning point of the band where they really "found their sound". While writing the song, Gavin struggled to come up with a sufficient hook and melody for the chorus that captured the power of emotion and message the song has. Eventually giving in and booking the studio time it came down to the wire trying to get this chorus written and recorded. The rest of the song was finished when Scooter said "This chorus doesn't feel like a chorus. Let's just rewrite it all". Scooter, Cody, and songwriter Colin Rustik sat down and rewrote the entire chorus instrumentally. During this a flood of ideas began to circle in Gavin's head until they finished recording the new chorus and he stood to the mic saying "Let me try something". What you hear in the recording is lightning caught in a bottle as that is the very first time Gavin...The first time that I ever sang that chorus. We knew that was it when I finished hitting that last note. We knew that was the true beginning of Kissing Lilith.

The second song released. Written by Cody Miller and Gavin Kerr. Recorded with Jeff Koval. This song is written for the audience themselves and anyone who has ever been told they were "not good enough" to pursue their passions. A heavy chip was placed on Gavin's shoulder after the lead singer of the last band he was in fired him for being "Too young and inexperienced to go to the next level with them" just before playing the Inkarceration Festival. (They're still at that same level for those wondering) Taking inspiration from those emotions, Gavin decided to write a song for the audience to sing and scream with him on stage stating that he and they are "More Than Worth It". Hoping to inspire those listening to not give up on what they believe they can achieve and to continue pushing forward each and every day.

This track sets the tone for Kissing Lilith's style and genre of music as Gavin Kerr tells the story of an toxic and abusive relationship he found himself trapped in which involved his ex faking a pregnancy for 8 months, going as far as to buy a fake stomach off of amazon. Along with her impersonating friends, family, and music higher ups to manipulate and control Gavin's living work, living situation, and music career. The chorus came to Gavin while driving to work to which he sent a screaming voice message to Cody saying "this is the first song".
