This track sets the tone for Kissing Lilith's style and genre of music as Gavin Kerr tells the story of an toxic and abusive relationship he found himself trapped in which involved his ex faking a pregnancy for 8 months, going as far as to buy a fake stomach off of amazon. Along with her impersonating friends, family, and music higher ups to manipulate and control Gavin's living work, living situation, and music career.
The chorus came to Gavin while driving to work to which he sent a screaming voice message to Cody saying "this is the first song".
